Tambi Greene
2002 Grand View graduate

Tambi Greene was supported at Grand View by a program that addresses the need for minority teachers. Now an English and Speech teacher at North High School in Des Moines, she’s in her element with 1,300 students, 45% of them minorities and nearly 60% from lower-income families. Tambi would like to complete a graduate program in public administration. She is just one of the hundreds of Grand View educated teachers who contribute to the success of Iowa’s next generations.

She says, “My Grand View education prepared me for the workforce and provided me with the experiences necessary to perform each day as a classroom teacher. I’m proud of the education I received from Grand View and I wouldn’t change one thing. Grand View laid a solid foundation from my future learning.”
