Hey Group,

 

It has been a busy, but exciting week.

 

I found out that there will be a student directed show next year for any Alpha Psi Omega member to submit a proposal. I am really excited to find the perfect script that will work for our arena type stage. Also, I was appointed a member of the View Crew which is assigned to different incoming freshman to help them with the transition. So, hopefully I will get to be paired up with some of you during the summer and see you at registration days.

 

My final for my accelerated class went really well; I got an A and an A in the course. All that studying paid off in a big way! I hope that all my other finals will go that good!

 

I started looking at scheduling for the summer and next semester. I love that Grand View makes it easy to meet with your advisor and discuss what classes need to be taken and when. I love the website that GV offers for the students, they make it really easy to find out the courses you need for the core, your major, and when they will be offered. I will end up having a very busy summer with work and classes, but still will definitely find time to have fun!

 

Next week will be tons of fun too. On Monday I have a gathering with the new View Crew members in order to discuss next year and get to know each other, Wednesday is a free movie night hosted by SAC (they pay for all GV students to see a movie in theaters!) and Thursday I have “Pizza with the President” which is a great group of freshman invited into the President’s Fellows group. If any of you get invited next year, make sure you accept! You meet and discuss things with the President, and you meet new great people that share similar activities and academic values.
