In the next week I have to study for two final exams and practice for a reading of my poems and prose from the past semester of my creative writing class. I have to work quite a few hours at my job and prepare the Grand Views for next semester. And that’s only the beginning of things.
But all I want to do is break out my rolling pin.
The holiday season is a time I look forward to each year, usually no matter what. I love the lights and the family and definitely the food, which includes sugar cookies, carefully frosted and covered in sprinkles. Trees, stars, stockings, ornaments, all painted with blue, red, green, and yellow sugar.
