On Campus at Grand View

The Grand View campus sits in a quiet residential neighborhood in Des Moines, yet the campus itself is anything but quiet.  You’ll find a vibrant campus life, full of activities, challenges and fun.  After all, lots of what you learn in college doesn’t happen in the classroom.

“East campus” is home to most of our residential and athletic facilities – Knudsen Hall, Nielsen Hall, the campus apartment complex, Langrock Suites, the new L Apartments, the Student Center, Student Life offices, the Charles S. Johnson Wellness Center and the Luhrs Athletic Complex.

You’ll find that it’s the hub of activity beyond the classroom.  Click on the links at the left to explore what it’s like to live on campus and learn about all we have to offer.

You’ll also discover that metropolitan Des Moines is our “campus” too!  With more than half a million people, the Des Moines area is booming, alive with business, government, the arts, and activity of all kinds.  Take a look at the “Daily Des Moines” links to get a flavor for what you’ll find here.  Even if you live in central Iowa, what’s available may surprise you.

Want a closer look? Enjoy this video, featuring Dr. Jay Prescott, Vice President for Student Affairs, with students Bryce Adger and Alli Steffensmeier, as they talk about campus life and athletics at Grand View for CollegeWeekLive.  Then schedule your campus visit today!
